Specialists

The following specialist consultants attend Bridge Clinic on a regular basis and operate at the Murray Bridge Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Referral from your own doctor is always required.

Although there are no resident specialists in Murray Bridge, we have 30 visiting specialists who consult from within Bridge Clinic at our invitation.

As you can see from the list below a full range of specialist services are provided. This not only enables patients to access services locally, but also provides the opportunity for continuing medical education.

Consulting specialists can perform investigations such as stress tests, echocardiograms and endoscopies. All the visiting surgeons have regular operating lists at the Hospital for which the Clinic provides anaesthetics and surgical assistance. Procedures include laparoscopic cholecystectomy and joint replacement surgery.

The visiting psychiatrist also consults at the Murray Mallee Community Health Service
