Welcome to Bridge Clinic
The doctors within this group practice have a broad range of experience and expertise and provide a full range of medical services and care.
You are encouraged to choose your own family doctor. Doctors consult by appointment and undertake inpatient care at Murray Bridge Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
Appointments
Can be made with the doctor of your choice by phone or in person. Please notify the receptionist if you feel your problem is urgent or will require a longer appointment or a surgical procedure.
To contact your GP (eg for results) you may need to leave a message and your GP will return your call when available.
Emergency Doctor
An emergency doctor is always available for urgent problems without prior appointment.
There may be delays seeing the emergency doctor as patients are seen in order of presentation. Emergencies (including ambulance cases) will be given priority.
Home Visits
If necessary home visits can be organised with your doctor. If requesting a home visit please explain the urgency and provide a telephone number for contact.
After Hours
After hours emergency treatment or advice can be obtained by phoning the hospital on 8535 6725 or attending the hospital.
Obstetrics
Drs M. Altmann, Butler, Nicholls, Rischbieth and Nicholson practice obstetric care, providing ante-natal care at the clinic and deliver babies at the hospital.
Opening Times
Accounts
Bridge Clinic doctors will use their discretion in cases of genuinely financially disadvantaged and chronically ill patients in need of frequent medical attention.
If you are having difficulty paying your account, please discuss this with our accounts staff, the practice manager, or your doctor.
We prefer that accounts be settled in full on the day of your appointment.
We can process your Medicare Claim Form for Electronic Funds Transfer and have the rebate deposited directly into the bank account of your choice within 7 days.
We will accept payment by cash, EFTPOS, personal cheque or credit card.

Complaints
If you have a complaint about any aspect of the service you have received at the Clinic we would like to hear about it so that we may be able to respond and so attempt to improve our service.
The following options are open to you:
1 First discuss the issue with your own doctor.
2 Seek to discuss the problem with the Manager, Jill Coombe if you think that is appropriate.
3 If you still feel that your complaint has not been addressed then you may contact the
